The Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes presents an exhibition dedicated to Alan Glass, a key figure in the surrealist movement in Mexico. The display, available from October 30, 2024, to February 16, 2025, features 125 pieces from over five decades of Glass's work, exploring themes of nature, desire, travel, and death. Curated by Joshua Sánchez, Xavier de la Riva, Abigail Susik, and Kristoffer Noheden, the exhibition is organized into three sections that highlight Glass's innovative use of found materials and his connections with notable artists like André Breton and Alejandro Jodorowsky. Through an exploration of his artistic journey, this homage underscores Glass’s significant influence on contemporary surrealism.
