Espectros is an installation by artist Isa Carrillo that will be showcased at the Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes from June 17 to July 13, 2025. The work draws inspiration from Jorge González Camarena's 1963 mural, Liberación, and consists of 12 suspended pieces that reinterpret the mural's forms and symbols using techniques such as embroidery and textile work. Carrillo's exploration engages with themes of numerology, the I Ching, and astrology, creating a dynamic dialogue between the original mural and contemporary artistic practices.
