The Orpheum Theatre's 2014 Summer Movie Series draws to a close with Rocky Horror Picture Show on Friday, September 5th at 8:00 PM. This screening marks 10 years that Rocky Horror has been a staple in the Orpheum's annual movie series lineup. Once again audiences will put on their platform heels and "Time Warp" their way to the Orpheum for an evening of elaborate costumes, cult classic entertainment and audience participation.

As is tradition, the Orpheum will host a costume contest in celebration of the film. The contest, led by Rocky Horror Master of Ceremonies Drew Pairmore, takes place before the screening, and all attendees are invited to participate. Pairmore is a skilled performer, and he will once again display his musical talents in full costume on the Orpheum's Mighty Wurlitzer.

Doors open at 7:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a movie-themed anniversary cocktail and to purchase $5 prop-bags to be used during the film (while supplies last).

Rocky Horror Picture Show celebrates the weird and wonderful as newly engaged couple Brad and Janet encounter a problem when their car halts in the rain. They both look for contact only to find themselves at the castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a transvestite. A place to stay is offered, but will Brad and Janet want to remain there? Complete with a large group of Transylvanians dancing to the 'Time Warp,' Rocky Horror is the cult classic that offers audiences an unforgettable movie-going experience.

The Orpheum Theatre's 2014 Summer Movie Series is presented for a third year by Orion Federal Credit Union. This year's series concludes with Rocky Horror Picture Show and consisted of a selection of films requested by Orpheum movie fans through the Orpheum Theatre's website and social media channels.
