Hong Kong artistes Connie Mak Kit Man (???), Kwong Wah (??), Tse Suet Sum (???), Suzan Guterres (??) and Lo Hoi Pang (???) are set to grace the stage at the Arena of Stars this November.
Besides her acting career, Connie Mak is a also a singer and has a string of albums under her belt. She is married to Kwong Wah, who will also be here for the variety show.
Kwong Wah is no stranger to Hong Kong’s drama industry. As a credit to his excellent performance, he was nominated for a TVB Anniversary Award for Best Actor for the comedy-drama The King of Yesterday, which he also sang the ending theme song.
Tse Suet Sum, who started her career as a Chinese opera singer, was trained by legends Yam Kim Fai and Bak Sheut-sin. She has won a TVB Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Rosy Business and earned an Asian Television Award as the Best Actress in a Supporting Role for the series Beyond the Realm of Conscience.
As for Suzan, she was born into a family of musicians and was exposed to the music scene since young. She is currently one of the most glamorous stars in the music industry and is known as “The Diva With A Hundred Faces”. She has worked with famous artistes like Chow Yun Fat, Sally Yeh, George Lam, Jacky Cheung and many more.
Finally, we have Lo Hoi Pang, who picked up the Best Supporting Actor award at the 31st Hong Kong Film Awards in April 2012. He was also a co-host in the popular variety show Enjoy Yourself Tonight with Lydia Shum during the 70s.
