JERSEY BOYS To Open Ogunquit Playhouse 87th Season

The Ogunquit Playhouse 2019 season kicks off with Jersey Boys! The multi-Tony Award-winning, international sensation that performed to sold-out houses during its run in 2018, is back by popular demand May 15 through June 15. The cast that BroadwayWorld exclaimed to be "the closest you'll ever get to having seen Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons," also returns to the Ogunquit stage - Jonathan Mousset (Frankie Valli), Matt Magnusson (Tommy DeVito), Andy Christopher (Bob Gaudio), and Matthew Amira (Nick Massi).

The Ogunquit Playhouse Children's Theatre Camps are open for enrollment and filling up fast! Register your aspiring thespian today for either the Rising Stars Camp for children ages 5 to 8, Center Stage Camp for children ages 8 to 10, or the Junior Players Camp for ages 10 to 18. These programs offer theatrical training in a supportive and nurturing environment, and no prior training or skill level is required to participate. Each camp session concludes with a staged production in front of an audience.

Performances for the 2019 Maine Playwrights Festival, the state's most prolific incubator for new plays by local playwrights, have been announced for April 25 through May 4 in Portland. This year's eighteenth annual festival features the world premiere performances of six new plays by Maine playwrights.
