Maine State Music Theatre Holds ANNIE and WIZ Children Auditions, 3/12

Maine State Music Theatre is looking for bright, energetic kids to perform in two special shows this season: ANNIE and THE WIZ. ANNIE needs girls to play Annie and her fellow orphans. Candidates must be between 6-15 years old and be able to act, sing, and dance. THE WIZ is searching for African American children. Candidates must be between 6-15 years old and be able to act, sing, and dance.
Auditions will be held on March 12, 2011 from 2pm - 6pm. MSMT is located at 22 Elm Street, Brunswick, Maine 04011. Please bring a headshot and a resume stapled together. Be prepared with the songs Tomorrow and Maybe. Bring sheet music. If you are asked to stay to dance, you will learn Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile. Bring sneakers or dance shoes. If selected, the following rehearsal and show schedule will apply:
Show Rehearsals: June 10 - 28 (Tuesday - Sunday, 10am - 6pm)
Show Runs: June 29 - July 16 (8 performances a week)
