Derby Dinner Playhouse will open their 2021-22 Childrens Musical Theatre Series with the musical NATE THE GREAT on October 2, 2021. Performances will run October 2, 9, 16, 23, 25, November 6, 2021. Nate the Great, the worlds greatest boy detective, awakens to a new mystery when he gets a call from his friend Annie alerting him that a painting of her dog Fang is missing. This new case kicks off a rollicking musical that celebrates art, friendship, creative thinking, and of course, pancakes! NATE THE GREAT is based on the best-selling, teacher recommended book series by Marjorie Sharmat and was written for the stage by John Maclay with music by Brett Ryback. Derby Dinners production is under the direction of Tina Jo Wallace. The cast will include Tony Milder, BeeBee Patillo, Shaquille Towns, Embry Thielmeier, and Tonilyn Hussey.All performances of NATE THE GREAT are on Saturdays with Breakfast at 9am and Lunch at 12pm. A dinner performance has been added on October 25 at 5:45pm. All performances feature a kid friendly menu. This production is most suitable for ages 3 - 12. MASKS REQUIRED.
