Leapin’ Lizards! This classic American musical is the rags-to-riches story of a pint-sized little girl and her lovable dog, Sandy. Set in the heart of New York City in the 1930's, little orphan Annie lives in a rundown children’s home but dreams of someday finding her real parents. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s evil plans, befriends President Roosevelt, and finds a new family and home in billionaire Oliver Warbucks.

The musical ANNIE was based on the popular comic strip “Little Orphan Annie” and was the winner of 7 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. It had a record-breaking run on Broadway as well as a star-studded 1982 motion picture version that featured Carol Burnett as Miss Hannigan. ANNIE was written by Thomas Meehan with music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin. Songs featured in this bright and tuneful score are “Hard Knock Life”, “Easy Street”, “N.Y.C”, “Little Girls”, and the unforgettable hit “Tomorrow”.

ANNIE is under the direction of Lee Buckholz with choreography by Heather Paige Folsom and musical direction by Scott Bradley. The cast will include Clay Smith, Jillian Prefach Baker, Elizabeth Loos, Matthew Brennan, Brittany Cox, J.R. Stuart, and many more! The roles of the Orphans are all double-cast and will be played by young performers from the Kentuckiana area. A delightful family favorite!
