Welcome to Night Vale is a podcast presented as a radio show for the fictional town of Night Vale. Airing twice a month, the podcast consists of news, announcements from the Sheriff's Secret Police, mysterious lights in the night sky, dark hooded figures with unknowable powers, and cultural events for the desert town.
Welcome to Night Vale was written by NPR's Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor on the idea of this small Southwestern desert town "where conspiracy theories were real". The podcast series is voiced by Cecil Brown and published by Commonplace Books.
