Pandora Productions Presents THE NEW PLAY PROJECT
Affirming its commitment to cutting edge experimental live theatre, Pandora Productions will present a very special added attraction for the 2011-2012 theatrical season, THE NEW PLAY PROJECT.
Phase Two of a three phase process, The New Play Project began its metamorphosis three years ago. In Phase One, Pandora put out a national call for new original plays on new GLBTQ themes and received 98 submissions, resulting in the four finalists audiences will see in Phase Two during the current season.
This coming Sunday, October 2, audiences will see the first in a series of staged excerpts from all four of the final plays, with additional performances on November 6, 2011, January 8, 2012, and April 15, 2012. At the conclusion of each evening, audience members will choose which one of the four excerpts should receive full production attention and become part of our 2012-2013 Season lineup (Phase Three).
The New Play Project is presented at The Bard's Town, 1801 Bardstown Road, at the corner of Speed Avenue in The Highlands. This production is free to 2011-12 Season Subscribers as well as the general public; however, seating is extremely limited at this location so please arrive early.
