Pandora Productions Presents ALTAR BOYZ

This musical comedy with book by Kevin Del Aguila, music and lyrics by Gary Adler, Michael Patrick Walker is a season extra for the company.

ALTAR BOYZ tells the holy inspiring story of 5 small-town boys - Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan and Abraham - trying to save the world one screaming fan at a time. A pious pop act, Altar Boyz is destined to rock the masses of all denominations! Full of sharp parody, sinfully spectacular dancing, and irreverent humor, this spoof about a heavenly guy-group is an extraordinary mix of side-splitting songs, uncontrollable laughs and lighthearted fun, this award-winning and totally original musical is 90 minutes of pure delight that's suitable for all ages and will have the whole family laughing and singing along. ALTAR BOYZ stars: Cameron Conners as Matthew, Michael Detmer as Mark, Tony Smith as Luke, Remy Sisk as Juan and Alfie Jones as Abraham. The production is directed by company Artistic Director, Michael J. Drury assisted by the co-producer Mark Stein.

The production will run August 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25 @ 7:30 p; August 5, 12, 19 @ 5:30 p at Pandora's home theatre in the Henry Clay building located at 604 South Third Street, 3rd Floor, Downtown Louisville. Michael J. Drury, Pandora Productions Producing Artistic Director,has worked as a professional actor for 30+ years throughout the Midwest and is no stranger to Louisville area audiences having appeared with Stage One: Louisville's Children's Theatre, Derby Dinner Playhouse, Music Theatre Louisville, CenterStage, Theatre [502] and the Stephen Foster Drama Association, with whom he also toured Japan and was chosen to remake the official cast recording. He has directed numerous productions at Derby Dinner, Louisville Repertory Company, Clarksville Little Theatre and the Shelby County Community Theatre, in addition to adjudicating at theatre festivals including The Kentucky Theatre Association and The Southeastern Theatre Conference.
