Local actor, singer, director, and now playwright, Andrew K. McGill, is pleased to announce the World Premiere of his original murder mystery play, Backstage Secrets.

July 21, 22, 28, 29 at 7:30pm & July 23 & 30 at 2:00pm.
Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain- box office open one hour prior.

It's opening night of a new musical at the Playhouse on Main in Upstate New York. The cast and crew have arrived and are waiting for Mrs. Carlisle, the theatre's resident diva, and its biggest patron. On the verge of calling in her understudy, Mrs. Carlisle arrives and begins to make a spectacle of herself. As each cast and crew member heads off to get ready for the performance, they reveal just how much Mrs. Carlisle bothers them. Tempers flare and egos erupt as one by one, the cast and crew are once again tortured by Mrs. Carlisle. One thing leads to another, and it becomes all too clear that someone is not going to survive opening night. Secrets arise as the murder investigation deepens and we learn that not everyone is as innocent as they seem. Was it the director covering for past indiscretions? Maybe the ingénue who doesn't seem to know better. What about the former Broadway star who carries a secret that doesn't involve just him? Or maybe it's the lighting technician who is just all together mysterious? Can you figure it out before someone else finds themselves playing their final performance?
This fast-paced, interactive show is sure to keep audiences on the edge of their seats right up to the very end.
