THE DIRECTOR AND VLADIMIR OF THREE "GODOT"S!: Excaliber Shakespeare Company of Chicago and Excaliber Shakespeare Company Los Angeles Archival Project Founder Darryl Maximilian Robinson directed and appeared as Vladimir in Excaliber's 1992 St. Louis, Missouri, 1997 Chicago, Illinois and 2001 Oak Park, Illinois revivals of Beckett's "Waiting For Godot," winning a 1998 WKKC Radio Chicago Critic's Corner Fine Arts Award for Outstanding Director Of The Play for The 1997 Excaliber Shakespeare Company of Chicago multiracial cast revival of the work staged at The Heartland Cafe Studio Theatre in the Rogers Park neighborhood of The Windy City. He was thrilled and delighted to work with the casts and crews of all three stagings and remembers with pride all of their fine work in taking the journey that is "Godot".
