From the Alaskan Gold Rush in the 1890sto the Florida real estate boom in the 1930s, ROAD SHOW is the story of men andwomen in late 19th century America willing to take risks to grab their piece ofthe American dream. Spanning 40 years, ROAD SHOW specifically focuses onAddison and Wilson Mizner, two brothers who are constantly looking for the nextway to strike it rich. This quest turns into a test of morality andjudgment for the two brothers that will change their lives in unexpected ways.
ROAD SHOW, from the Stephen Sondheimand John Weidman team that brought us PACIFIC OVERTURES and ASSASSINS, tellsthe tale of American dreamers who scramble for success, identity and love inthe early 20th century.
