Developing new works by some of theatre’s most creative new voices will be the focus at Rogue Machine’s first ever Playwrights Roundtable for full length works. This summer Rogue Machine curates an inspiring variety of new plays written by Mando Alvarado, Joshua Conkel, Brian Otaño, A. Rey Pamatmat, David H. Parker, and Lina Patel. These works-in-progress will be a first look by the public into the development process.
Thursday 7/25 at 8pm: “First in Last Out” written by Brian Otaño
Directed by Brian Otaño / 90 minutes - no intermission
Friday 7/26 at 8pm: “Splitting Leo” written by Mando Alvarado
Directed by Bernardo Cubría / 90 minutes - no intermission
Saturday 7/27 at 1pm: “FREAKZSHOW, or: let ya freak flag fly! but we ain’t giving you wings…” Written by David H. Parker. Directed by Khalif J. Gillett / 60-75 minutes - no intermission.
Saturday 7/27 at 8pm: “Point Doom” written by Joshua Conkel. Directed by Matthew Elkins / 70 minutes - no intermission.
Sunday 7/28 at 1pm: “Masters of Fine Art” written by A. Rey Pamatmat. Directed by Jesca Prudencio / 75-90 minutes - no intermission.
Sunday 7/28 at 8pm: “Belonging” written by Lina Patel. Directed by Guillermo Cienfuegos / 90 minutes - no intermission.
