Camerata Pacifica presents the world premiere of Natural Light, a commissioned work by David Bruce for wind quintet and Thai button gong, showcasing a blend of contemporary classical music. The ensemble features Sébastian Jacot on flute, Nicholas Daniel on oboe, Jose Franch-Ballester on clarinet, Eleni Katz on bassoon, Ben Goldscheider on horn, and Irina Zahharenkova on piano. In addition to Bruce's composition, the program includes works by Madeline Dring, Cécile Chaminade, and Antonín Dvořák, performed across four venues in Southern California from March 1 to March 6, 2026. Each performance promises an engaging exploration of musical expression, merging ancient melodies with modern interpretations.
