Top Secret: The Battle for the Pentagon Papers will stop by LA Theatre Works March 12 - 16, 2008 for five performances. Written by Geoffrey Cowan and Leroy Aarons and directed by John Rubinstein.

"When The Washington Post decides to publish the infamous Pentagon Papers, a top secret study documenting U.S. involvement in Vietnam, the Nixon Administration will stop at nothing to suppress it.  This riveting docudrama follows the intrepid Post reporters as they struggle to balance free speech and national security.  Top Secret ends its 23-city national tour with five performances at the Skirball Cultural Center.  All performances are recorded to air on LATW's nationally-syndicated radio theater series, The Play's The Thing, which broadcasts weekly on public and satellite radio," explain press notes.

Starring John Heard, Gregory Harrison, Susan Sullivan, John Vickery, Bo Foxworth, James Gleason, Russell Soder, Peter Van Norden, Tom Virtue and Geoffrey Wade.

Show times are: Wednesday, March 12 at 8PM; Thursday, March 13 at 8PM; Friday, March 14 at 8PM; Saturday March 15 at 3PM; and Sunday, March 16 at 4PM.

L.A. Theatre Works' radio theater series, "The Play's the Thing," airs locally every Saturday night from 10 pm to midnight on 89.3 KPCC, and is streamed on the KPCC website (www.kpcc.org) for one week following each broadcast.  The series can also be heard on public radio stations throughout the country, and on XM Satellite Radio.  The L.A.
