By:

Los Angeles based singer Todd Murray debuts his new show, "Croon" at Blame It On Midnight in Palm Springs on Thursday, July 8th prior to it's opening at Hollywood's famed Catalina on July 9th and 10th, then New York City's Feinstein's At The Regency on July 13th. A former Broadway star, Mr. Murray's last appearance in Palm Springs was at Annenberg Theatre in 2008. Since then he has been touring the country in his acclaimed show "Stardust And Swing" which is also the title of his most recent CD. His previous CD entitled "When I Sing Low" also won high recognition from both critics and his many fans.

Putting this show together, Todd admits, "was a challenge - but a labor of love". With 22 songs, "Croon" hits on each decade since 'crooning' came into popularity in the 1920's with standards as well as contemporary tunes by Dillon, Leonard Cohan, and one written by Todd Murray and Alex Rybeck who also plays piano in the trio comprised of Sean Harkness on guitar and Steve Doyle on bass, who will be backing Todd.

Join Todd Murray in "Croon", along with a trio led by musical director Alex Rybeck, on Thursday, July 8th at 8 PM. Priority dinner seating is at 6 PM, with cocktails only seating at 7 PM. Blame It On Midnight is located at 777 East Tahquitz Canyon Way next to Regal Cinemas in Palm Springs. Reservations, which guaranty seating, are highly recommended and may be made by at 760-323-1200.
