They Played Productions Launches CAPTIVATED ACT TWO: VICTORIA

In March, They Played Productions launched their psychological nightmare immersive production, Captivated: An Obsession in 3 Acts, with the first segment of the story called Justine. August will see the premiere of the next chapter of this dark story-Act Two: Victoria.

Victoria places the audience in an event of deep sadness. Death sometimes comes too soon, and the wake is where loved ones attempt to put their grief to rest. But when in attendance hide secrets, that rest may be far from easy. The audience will learn these secrets. What happens when they do is completely up to them.

For 24 performances over 12 nights, Victoria will bring the audience a story of the difference between what we think we know of someone and who they truly are inside. Death does not bury secrets. It only brings them closer to the surface, and this time it's your choice whether they get free.

Victoria is the second act of the 3-part story of Captivated. Audiences can enjoy each part individually or experience all 3 in order to have the fullest possible story. Throughout, Captivated explores the themes of need, love and the true depths of what someone is willing to do to achieve their goals.

This immersive experience is designed for audience members 18+, with food and non-alcoholic drinks offered to audience members. The show is fully interactive, with audience members attending the show and interacting with actors in multiple ways.

Captivated is an immersive and interactive production of They Played Productions, a company launched by entertainment veterans Erik Blair and Thea Rivera. Blair has directed and performed in over 100 productions all over the country, as well as working with Sony, Disney and Warner Brothers on various projects. Rivera has focused on a career in technology but has worked 20 plus years in theatre, in all capacities. The two formed They Played Productions in 2017 to create content in all forms of visual entertainment. They were behind last year's Nothing Bad: A Werewolf Rock Musical, this year's production of God: The Apologies Tour for Fringe and have more planned over the next year.
