Legendary Grammy and Oscar-winning artist/producer T Bone Burnett makes a special guest appearance with Neko Case for KCRW's World Festival Series concert on Sunday, September 11, 2011. After hearing Neko Case sing at Walt Disney Concert Hall in 2007, Burnett remarked, "I don't think I've ever heard a voIce That sounded like that before. It was so full! I don't know of another woman who has that same resonance and power." Case was one of many notable artists who participated in Burnett's 2010 benefit concert at the Beacon Theatre in New York. The concert was recorded and the upcoming release, T Bone Burnett Presents: The Speaking Clock Revue, is due out in October 2011. Proceeds of the album will benefit the Participant Foundation, an organization that supports music and arts education in public schools.

This Sept. 11 concert concludes the 2011 KCRW's World Festival series at the Hollywood Bowl. Neko Case shares the bill with Ohio-raised and Brooklyn-based band The National, who make their Hollywood Bowl debut; singer-songwriter Sharon Van Etten opens the show.
