The performers have been set for the world premiere production of Rude Mechs' "I've Never Been So Happy." The Western musical transmedia shindig which is presented at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre as part of DouglasPlus programming runs for 18 performances only, October 6 through 23, 2011. Opening is set for October 8.

"I've Never Been So Happy" features (in alphabetical order) Cami Alys, Kerri Atwood, Lowell Bartholomee, Liz Cass, Noel Gaulin, Thomas Graves, Hannah Kenah, Jenny Larson, Lana Lesley, E. Jason Liebrecht, Michael T. Mergen, Erin Meyer, Eric Roach, Paul Soileau, Peter Stopschinski and Meg Sullivan.

"I've Never Been So Happy" has book and lyrics by Kirk Lynn and music and lyrics by Peter Stopschinski. It is directed by Thomas Graves and Lana Lesley, and is created by Rude Mechs.
Featuring music that ranges from a traditional gospel love song to a modern action film score, from an operatic aria to a hip-hop party mix and from a traditional country duet to a death metal song, "I've Never Been So Happy" is a wild ride though the myths and realities of the American West.
