Roslyn Cohn: Actress and Ex-Scientologist Performs Risky One-Woman Show 'diffiCult to leave'

By:

Actress Roslyn Cohn was a member of the Church of Scientology for 23 years. Her one-woman show, "diffiCult to leave" was performed November 25, 2013 at Sterling's Upstairs at the Federal in North Hollywood, California.

With narrative and music, Roslyn describes how she became entrenched in Scientology, at great personal expense -- both financial and emotional -- and the enlightenment that came when she was finally able to extricate herself from the powerful organization and reclaim her life. The show is the very first onstage performance by an Ex-Scientologist regarding the controversial subject.

The Huffington Post: "Alternately hilarious and moving, the show is a first-hand account of the before and after of life in a cult ... perhaps the largest and most powerful cult in contemporary times ... a story the world needs to hear."

The entirety of "diffiCult to leave" can be seen on YouTube:

Roslyn graduated from Sanford Meisner's Neighborhood Playhouse, was a performer with Tony Randall's National Actors Theatre and has worked with Barbra Streisand, Seth Rogen, Anne Fletcher, Sidney Lumet, Andy Garcia, Tony Randall, Valerie Perrine, Milton Katselas, Austin Pendleton, Danny Burstein, Michael Stuhlbarg, et al.
