On the high-heels of last season's wildly-successful L.A. Premiere, KINKY BOOTS, the smash-hit musical that brings together four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Tony Award-winner for Best Score for Kinky Boots), returns to the Hollywood Pantages Theatre for a limited two-week engagement, April 13 - 24, 2016. Kinky Boots, led by producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig, won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Musical and is now in its 4th smash year on Broadway. The show is also playing hit productions in London's West End, Toronto, with upcoming productions announced for Australia, Japan, Korea and more.
KINKY BOOTS tells the uplifting and heartwarming tale of Charlie Price, a young man reluctantly taking over his family's struggling business. Charlie meets and finds inspiration in Lola and together, the unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible... and discovers that when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world. The winner of six 2013 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Kinky Bootsfeatures a Tony Award-winning score by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Tony Award-winnerHarvey Fierstein, and direction and choreography by Tony Award- winner Jerry Mitchell.
