Patrick Bristow Joins MISERABLE WITH AN OCEAN VIEW at Whitefire Theatre This Fall

Patrick Bristow (Ellen, Showgirls) joins the cast of new hit comedy MISERABLE WITH AN OCEAN VIEW which has been playing to sold out houses since it opened June 6th at the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks, CA.

In this critics' pick and audience favorite written and produced by Howard Skora, directed by Jim Fall, the character of Jeff Shapiro has one last thing to do before his wheelchair-bound, Long Island mother from hell (Oscar-nominee Patty McCormack) kicks the bucket. And he just can't muster the courage. But with the help of his squabbling siblings and a talking French clown doll long stashed away in a closet, Jeff just might pull it together in time, in this laugh-out-loud comedy about love, death and taking control of one's life.

Patrick Bristow, will stepping into the role of the Clown doll for four performances. Patrick's name may not be familiar to you, but the face may be as he's appeared on numerous TV shows and films over the past 25 years. You may remember him as the "Wig Master" on Seinfeld or as the goody two shoes friend Peter on the groundbreaking sitcom "Ellen," as well as recurring roles on Mad About You, Curb Your Enthusiasm and more. In recent years, he has appeared on Shameless, The Middle, Last Man Standing, Pretty Little Liars, CSI, and in the films Austin Powers, So I Married an Axe Murderer, Pain and Gain, and Transformers 4. Patrick is an alumnus of The Groundlings Theatre where he performed, taught and directed for many years. He currently teaches improv classes for Improvatorium in Los Angeles. In addition, Patrick is the co-creator, (along with Brian Henson) of the Jim Henson Company's long running puppet improv show, "Puppet Up Uncensored." The show has played to packed houses and rave reviews all over the world. Patrick also serves as the show's Emcee.

The MISERABLE WITH AN OCEAN VIEW cast includes the talents of Patty McCormack, Paul Elia, Elizabeth Regen, Drew Droege, Alex Skuby, with Patrick Bristow in for Drew Droege 9/12, 9/19, 9/26 and 10/10.
