As we make our way on into the second week of February, I hope you are planning to take in a show or two at any one of our several California Central Coast theatre and live performance establishments!

Sorcerer Productions’ (https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Sorcerer-Productions/105954829426281) Cat on a Hot Tin Roof will run through February 26 at the Studio Theatre at the Clark Center in Arroyo Grande [PHOTO by Mark Stuckey: L-R - Sean Owen as Brick, Molly Williams Stuckey as Maggie] (NOTE: Attended the Saturday evening performance of opening weekend - this show is WELL worth seeing!).

As the knowledge of cotton magnate "Big Daddy" Pollitt's imminent death slowly spreads among a family of would-be-heirs, the eldest son, Gooper, begins to draw up plans for the estate.  Maggie, the wife of Big Daddy's most-beloved son, Brick, tries to rouse her husband out of an alcoholic depression to claim his birthright.  Maggie and Brick wrestle with their love for each other, past infidelities, and the intrusive, conniving relatives all eager to push them out of the family fortune.  By evening's end, Maggie's fortitude and passion puts things right, and Brick's love for his father returns him, helplessly, to Maggie's loving arms.

This Pulitzer winning, and personal favorite, play by Tennessee Williams was brought to the silver screen in 1958 with Elizabeth Taylor, Paul Newman and Burl Ives, and remains an icon of American Theatre.  Come and relive this classic!

Featuring Molly Williams Stuckey as Magaret (Maggie "the cat"), Sean Owen as Brick, Ashley Moses as Mae, Rosh Wright as Big Mama, Tom Ammon as Big Daddy, Jeff Zahn as Rev Tooker, Joe Eister as Gooper, Kurtis Addison as Dr Baugh, and Show Direction by Bill McLaughlin, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof is one that is not to be missed!

Tickets for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof are $25 for adults and $20 for Students/Seniors and are on sale now.  Call (805) 489-9444 for tickets or come to the Clark Center Box Office at 487 Fair Oaks Avenue in Arroyo Grande.
