Sanctuary! BroadwayWorld has confirmed La Mirada Theatre's 2016-17 lineup, kicking off with THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME.

'HUNCHBACK', the only stage collaboration from two masters of the American musical, Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, is popping up at theaters across the country this season, with international productions reaching as far as Denmark (Fredericia Theater) and Hungary (Budapest Operetta).

The musical is a dramatic telling of the famous love story on a grand scale, with a lush, emotionally rich score featuring music by Menken (Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast) and lyrics by Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin). With a book by Peter Parnell, 'HUNCHBACK' has orchestrations by Michael Starobin.

Next up a La Mirada will be LEND ME A TENOR, followed by Jason Robert Brown's THE LAST FIVE YEARS, the Bernstein classic WEST SIDE STORY, and finally MAN OF LA MANCHA.

Stage Alliance OVATION AWARD for 2012-2013 "Best Season of the Year," La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, now in its fourth decade, has been producing quality productions for its Southern California audiences since 1977. The theatre has produced several national tours and is the recipient of many accolades including Ovation and Emmy Awards and Tony Award nominations.
