Actress Maureen Teefy will perform a limited engagement of her one-woman show, A Subject for a Short Story, directed by Thomas Mitchell, next month at the fanaticSalon Theater in Culver City, CA. Show times will be August 14th & 15th at 8pm.

A Subject for a Short Story is an intimate evening with Teefy, who is best-known for her starring roles in such classic films as, "Fame", "Supergirl" and "Grease 2." Teefy, one of eight sisters of a large Irish Catholic family, who became a Hollywood star and now, born storyteller, steps onto the stage to reflect on her remarkable life and career. Join Maureen for a night of wit, song & dance, as she tells stories of her personal triumphs, romances and her long career in film and theater.

The fanatic Salon's director, Thomas Mitchell said, "Maureen is a natural born actress and performer. Her enthusiasm and energy is contagious. To hear the story about the little girl hopping on the bus in the twin cities to audition for roles, make her way to hollywood, and the big screen is an inspiration to anyone with a dream!"
