The programs for the Los Angeles Philharmonic concerts scheduled for Thursday, May 10, Saturday, May 12, Friday, May 25, and Sunday, May 27, have been changed.

Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 and Sibelius Symphony No. 5, scheduled to be performed on May 10 and May 12, have been replaced by Mozart’s Adagio and Fugue, and his Posthorn Serenade. Vasks’ Distant Light remains on the program as originally scheduled.

Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto and Sibelius’ Symphony No. 5, scheduled to be performed on May 25 and May 27, have been replaced by Mozart’s Adagio and Fugue, Exsultate, Jubilate (with soprano soloist Kiera Duffy) and Posthorn Serenade. The May 25 concert is a Casual Friday performance, so the Adagio and Fugue will not be performed.

Gustavo Dudamel begins the LA Phil’s three-year Mozart/Da Ponte Trilogy with a fully staged production of Don Giovanni, featuring costumes by Rodarte designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy and stage design by architect Frank Gehry (May 18, 20, 24 & 26).
