GOD: THE APOLOGIES TOUR Premieres at Hollywood Fringe Image

Erik Blair has been dreaming about doing a show like this for over 10 years.

"Over a decade ago, I looked at the state of the world around us and wondered: How would The Creator actually talk to humanity if he/she/it returned and saw all that we have done with it? This was a big question to me. It's easy to look at the world that's around us and think that we've improved it tremendously-or nearly ruined it. In reality, everything humanity has ever done-good or bad-is a choice. We didn't have to get to this point-but here we are. How would The Creator respond to all of it?"

God: The Apologies Tour creates that very event for audiences to experience live. It tells the story of how The Creator might contemplate all of what humanity has done. Will The Creator thank us for our efforts-or decide we aren't up to the task?

God: The Apologies Tour is a divine immersive experience. Audience members will find themselves interacting with The Creator directly at Studio/Stage, able to explore multiple reflections of The Creator as they find themselves face-to-face with the One Who Made Everything. They will be able to converse directly with The Creator, ask questions and get direct responses in return. The Creator may even respond to the touchiest subject of them all: Free Will. He may apologize for giving us that gift-but not for the reason you might expect.

God: The Apologies Tour is the third live theatrical project for They Played Production, the company launched by entertainment veterans Erik Blair and Thea Rivera. They were the team behind the 2017 Fringe musical hit Nothing Bad: A Werewolf Rock Musical (also created for Studio/Stage) and the swiftly sold-out first act of their current 3-part horror immersive experience, Captivated: Justine.

SYNOPSIS:
God gave us all Free Will. Oops. Look how we've used it. Now the Creator returns for a 6-night tour to apologize and to answer your questions live. They Played Productions is bringing their newest creation--an interactive experience with the Creator Itself--to this year's Hollywood Fringe. This four-entities-in-one-man show is WAY more than a one man show. You will experience the opportunity to interact with The Creator and Its Reflections throughout the theater in this Divine Immersive Encounter. You will never look at "God" the same way again. With the definite improvised possibility of going completely off the rails depending on what YOU ask GOD, and as has been established from this production team, a twist of sorts may also be expected.
