CASA 0101 THEATER and TNH PRODUCTIONS in association with COUNCILMEMBER Gilbert A. Cedillo proudly announce the extension of the critically acclaimed hit musical, Disney's Aladdin, Dual Language Edition, Edición De Lenguaje Dual at CASA 0101 Theater, 2102 East First Street, Boyle Heights, CA 90033.

Emmanuel Deleage, Executive Director of CASA 0101 Theater and a Producer of Disney's Aladdin, Dual Language Edition/Edición De Lenguaje Dual today said: "I am happy to announce that due to phenomenal critical acclaim and popular demand we will be extending our current production of the hit musical, Disney's Aladdin, Dual Language Edition, Edición De Lenguaje Dual through Sunday, March 5, 2017."

Deleage continued, "The show highlights the power of collaboration. The diverse multi-lingual, multi-ethnic cast is a prime example of what makes America great, its diversity and inclusion. When everyone is allowed to shine, 'a whole new world' is indeed possible."


The show is a family friendly musical fantasy set in the fictional Middle Eastern city of Agrabah where a beloved Disney princess finds true love with a commoner boy with a magic carpet in a land inhabited with a bigger than life Genie, royal translators and trouble makers, and fast-talking comedic bilingual animal sidekicks!

The production is being presented on CASA 0101 Theater's Main Stage, 2102 East First Street (at St. Louis Street directly across the street from the Hollenbeck Police Station), Boyle Heights, CA 90033. The Extension Performance Schedule is as follows: Fridays, February 24th and March 3rd at 8:00 p.m.; Saturdays, February 25th and March 4th at 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.; and Sundays, February 26th and March 5th at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Under the direction of Rigo Tejeda, the cast of 24 includes: As Aladdin, a street rat: Daniel Martinez (Feb. 24, 25, 26, Mar. 3, 5) and Michael Torrenueva (Mar. 4); As Princess Jazmín: Valeria Maldonado (Feb. 24, 25, Mar. 3, 5 at 5:00 p.m.) and Sarah Kennedy (Feb. 26, Mar. 4, 5 at 2:00 p.m.); As Genie, resident of the magical lamp: Finley Polynice (Feb. 24, 25, Mar. 3, 5 at 2:00 p.m.) and Lewis Powell III (Feb. 26, Mar. 4, 5 at 5:00 p.m.); As Jafar, the Sultan's Grand Vizier: Luis Marquez (Feb. 24, 26, Mar. 3, 4, 5 at 2:00 p.m.) and Omar Mata (Feb. 25, Mar. 5 at 5:00 p.m.); Evan Garcia as Razú, Captain de los Guardias; Jason David as Iago, Jafar's pet parrot; Henry Madrid as Sultán; SebastIan Gonzalez as Abu, Aladdin's pet monkey; Rosa Navarrete as Rajah, Jazmín's pet tiger; Danielle Espinoza as Magic Carpet; Blanca Espinoza as Royal Translator; Shanara Sanders as Royal Translator; Diana Castrillon as Royal Translator; Jocelyn Sanchez as Ensemble; Andrew Cano as Ensemble; Mariana Peterson as Ensemble; Andrea Somera as Ensemble; Jesse Maldonado as Ensemble; Alejandro Lechuga as Ensemble and Bryant Melton as Ensemble.

Tickets are $30 per person for General Admission; $25 per person for Students and Seniors; and $20 per person for Boyle Heights residents with ID. This show is recommended for families. Advance reservations are highly encouraged. The running time of the show is 80 minutes without intermission.

Free Parking is available on several streets surrounding the theatre. Free Parking is also available on Fridays and Saturdays only at the Boyle Heights City Hall Parking Lot located at 2130 East First Street (at Chicago Street) by entering the lot from Chicago Street; the lot is closed on Sundays. Metro bus stations are located on First Street in Boyle Heights at both Soto Street, and at Boyle Street (Mariachi Plaza), within a short walking distance to the theater.
