David Burnham Makes Concert Debut at Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's, 10/2

Producer Michael Sterling presents Broadway's David Burnham in concert at Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's Sunday, October 2, 2011. Musical Direction for Burnham's show, Mostly Broadway, will be provided by Mark Vogel. "We are thrilled to have David and Mark on our stage," says Sterling. "They are, indeed, two of the most spectacular forces in music today."

David Burnham was last seen on Broadway in the mega-hit musical Wicked playing Fiyero, a role that he originated in the developmental workshops of the show. He is an original Broadway cast member of the musical The Light In The Piazza, performing both on the Tony Awards and the PBS telecast Live From Lincoln Center. He is also a recipient of the prestigious Helen Hayes Award for Best Actor, as well as the Best Actor Garland Award for his portrayal of Fabrizio in the U.S. National tour of The Light In The Piazza. David first gained critical acclaim when, after a two year search, he was chosen to replace Donny Osmond as Joseph in the national tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Dramalogue Award). He toured nationally in another Andrew Lloyd Webber blockbuster playing Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar. During summer 2011.... he co-starred in the new Off- Broadway show The Best Is Yet To Come - The Music of Cy Coleman. David performs with symphonies all over the country and his solo concert has been seen in the United States, Canada, and Europe. His appearance at Sterling's will also celebrate the release of his second, critically acclaimed solo CD... One Day... produced by Mark Vogel for LML Music.

Mark Vogel is a BMI award-winning composer, and is considered to be among the industry's most gifted. Not only a music director, producer and composer, Vogel began his career as a concert pianist who mastered compositions by Mozart at age four. His network television history consists of seven series including, Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place, Delta, and Full House on which he not only wrote original music, but also performed as a member of the series featured band Jesse and the Rippers. Vogel moved into film in 2000 and has consistently done one film each year, including Raising Helen with Kate Hudson and The Calling with Faye Dunaway. Marks recording and live touring credits include work with John Stamos, The Beach Boys, Natalie Cole, Marilyn McCoo, Mac Davis, Billy Davis, Jr., Kirk Cameron, FFH, Sandy Patti and Michael W. Smith. Also noted for his conducting and directing skills, Vogel has conducted on stages throughout the world, and has played for three U.S. Presidents: Gerald Ford, George Bush, and George W. Bush. His ability to find new talent and produce new artists, has brought him into the independent record label business, with clients beginning to rise in the music industry, on television, in film and on Broadway.

Reservations for David Burnham's Mostly Broadway are $43 per person and include: the entertainment cover, a one hour performance and a $13 minimum toward beverage and/or food ordered from the Chef's all-new Sterling menu. Dinner seating for this event is 5:00 - 5:30 pm. Showtime is 6:30 pm. Attendance is by reservation only: 818 754-8700.
