Chad Hilligus Debuts 'FINDING HOME' Cabaret Show at CVRep This Weekend

The Coachella Valley Repertory Theatre (CVRep) is proud to present FINDING HOME: An Evening With Chad Hilligus - stories from life on the road, life on the stage and life on the journey. With songs from Stephen Sondheim, Leonard Bernstein, Kander and Ebb, Harold Arlen, Maury Yeston and many other renown musical theatre composers, FINDING HOME will also feature music direction by award-winning pianist/arranger Christopher Marlowe.

Chad Hilligus has performed in over twenty different countries across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. As a Pierson Fellow with San Diego Opera, he appeared as Ferrando in Così Fan Tutte and recreated the title role in a new opera-Rumpelstiltskin. Recent operatic credits include A Waltz Dream (Lyric Opera of San Diego), Madame Butterfly (Sarasota Opera), Faust (Tulsa Opera), The Merry Widow (Lyric Opera of Kansas City), Gianni Schicchi (Chelsea Opera), Il Trovatore (Nashville Opera) and La Bohème (Ash Lawn Opera). Local audiences might recognize Chad as a former member of the multi-platinum crossover group The Ten Tenors. Chad gained international recognition starring as Tony in the 50th Anniversary World Tour of West Side Story. His performance as Tony with the Tokyo NHK Symphony was televised nationally throughout Japan. Other recent musical theatre credits include leading roles in Show Boat, Bye, Bye Birdie, Hello, Dolly, Oklahoma, State Fair, Godspell, Sound of Music, Street Scene and the national tour of Scrooge: The Musical.

Chad frequently appears as a solo artist at concert venues across the country and recently re-leased his latest project; a full-length solo album entitled Take Cover available on iTunes.

FINDING HOME: An Evening With Chad Hilligus will be performed at the Coachella Valley Repertory Theatre located at The Atrium, 69930 Highway 111, in Rancho Mirage. Tonight, July 24 and Saturday, July 25 at 7:00 PM and Sunday, July 26 at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $25 each and includes a post show reception.
