CONFIDENTIAL Musical Theatre Project Returns to Los Angeles, 9/28
To understand what is coming, let's explain what happened on Monday June 29 and August 31st. A group of performers took to the stage and presented a musical, having never met and having had absolutely no group rehearsal. Again - that's no rehearsals to figure out staging, no music rehearsals, no choreography, and no director telling you how to interpret a scene. The performers all learn the show on their own, with recorded voice and accompaniment tracks. Our first performance in Los Angeles was The Secret Garden, Books and Lyrics by Marsha Norman, Music by Lucy Simon, based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, followed up in August by Gypsy, by Arthur Laurents, Stephen Sondheim and Jule Styne.
And coming up?? What's the title of the next musical?
Well, that's all part of the Confidential aspect - we can't tell you. It's a secret. It's scary, it's exhilarating, it's captivating. And it will remind you of why you fell in love with live theatre in the first place. Come and experience the new theatrical concept that started in Toronto and has already expanded to six other cities before celebrating it's one year anniversary. Be in on the secret.
