CELL: A DUOLOGUE to Make World Premiere at Hollywood Fringe Festival
Alyssa Limperis and Mike Cabellon star in the new one-act at The Broadwater Black Box in Los Angeles.
The world premiere of Edward G. Excaliber's CELL: A DUOLOGUE is set for this June. Performances take place throughout the Hollywood Fringe Festival at The Broadwater Black Box located at 6322 Santa Monica Blvd. Los Angeles CA 90038. Tickets are $16. Tickets are now on sale. Performances will run June 7-27.
Cell: A Duologue follows Sadie and Charlie, who are forced to relive their 17-year relationship through the item they never realized was keeping a living, breathing record of their life together - their cell phone text chat. Sadie and Charlie find themselves in this liminal space, with no way out other than through. Forced to relive the sweet, happy memories, the regrets, the stupid little arguments that became inside jokes, the pain, the love, and the what-could-have-beens.
Featuring a stellar cast, including Alyssa Limperis (Hacks, What We Do in the Shadows, No Bad Days on Peacock) and Mike Cabellon (Mr. Mayor, Orange is the New Black, Adult Swim).
The Another Castle Productions Creative team including director Elizabeth Excaliber (638: An Uncommonly Comical Review of an Accidental Assassination Attempt of Fidel Castro, Hollywood Fringe Festival 2024), the 2024 Theatre Theater Playwright Award-winning writer Edward G. Excaliber (NBC's Writers on the Verge; National Hispanic Media Coalition's Writing Program), and producer Katherine Paez Froehlich (638: An Uncommonly Comical Review of an Accidental Assassination Attempt of Fidel Castro, Hollywood Fringe Festival 2024 and The Hunting of the Snark, Hollywood Fringe Festival 2024).
