Bohemia Group Launches Search for Musical Theatre Talent Image

Bohemia Group, an established global talent management firm, has launched a new LA-based initiative to develop a dynamic and diverse roster of musical theatre talent.

CEO Susan Ferris reveals, "The decision to expand our presence in the musical theatre landscape with this initiative is an innovative way to not only support our current musical theatre clients, but also serve a new generation of performers."

Spearheaded by Andrew Burrill, a current manager at Bohemia Group, and Kate Rancka, joining from Scooter Braun Projects, Bohemia Group Musical Theatre (BGMT) "aims to identify and amplify the voices of artists building impactful performance careers." The initiative will include Naomi Kolstein of Bohemia's New York office who brings more than 30 years of experience in representing the international musical theatre community.

Burrill and Rancka, who both come from performance backgrounds, express that their past experiences with musical theatre have inspired them to form this collaboration. Burrill earned a BA in Drama from the University of Virginia and an MS in Performing Arts Leadership and Management from Shenandoah Conservatory, while Rancka studied Opera Performance at Virginia Commonwealth University before moving to earn a BM in Music Business & Management at The Berklee College of Music.

Rancka explains, "Andrew and I grew up in the musical theatre community. We are incredibly excited to be able to expand Bohemia Group's footprint in a world that means so much to the both of us."

"We're not aiming to reinvent the wheel. Our goal is to breathe fresh life into one of America's oldest and most cherished art forms," Burrill continues.

Bohemia Group currently represents several Broadway performers including Corey Brill (Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo), Zoe Glick (Frozen), Jacob Brent (Cats), Toni Elizabeth White (Amazing Grace), Malinda Farrington (Damn Yankees), Rick Edinger (Pacific Overtures), Alan Ariano (The King and I, Miss Saigon), Abe Goldfarb (Beetlejuice), and Brian Ogilvie (Pretty Woman).

BGMT is accepting submissions ahead of their roster debut in early 2019. To be considered, please submit all materials at http://bit.ly/bgmtsubmit.

Launched in 1992, Bohemia Group is a global talent management firm representing clients across the entertainment landscape with offices in London, New York, Berlin, Auckland, and more.
