BLAST! Comes to the Gallo Center, 3/24 & 25
Blast! arrives at the Gallo Center for the Arts for two performances on Saturday, March 24 at 8:00 PM and Sunday, March 25 at 2:00 PM. The show is described as "an astonishing, exuberant production that bridges classical, blues, jazz, rock ‘n’ roll and techno-pop music."

Created by Jim Mason, Blast! is the 2001 Tony® award winner for special theatrical event of the year and the 2001 Emmy Award winner for Best Choreography. The show performers use trumpets, flugelhorns, mellophones, baritone horns, tubas, trombones, flugabones, French horns, and a full complement of percussion instruments including snare drums, tenor drums, bass drums, xylophones. vibraphones and marimbas, tympani, and other standard percussion equipment.
This production is presented by Wells Fargo. The Gallo Center for the Arts’ 2011-12 Premier Partner is Boyett Petroleum.
