Some call him a genius; some say he is the finest comedian working today. Some refer to his concerts as otherworldly; some define his honesty as terrifyingly insightful. Then there are those who simply find him funny. They number in the millions.

Uncensored, uncut and unpredictable, internationally renowned comedian/actor Billy Connolly exposes Los Angeles audiences to his hilarious, oxygen-depriving show Billy Connolly LIVE. Presented by Westbeth Entertainment, Connolly performs one night only at the Ricardo Montalban Theatre, 1615 N. Vine Street in the heart of Hollywood, on Saturday, June 4 at 8PM.

Making a rare appearance in Los Angeles, for the first time in over four years, Connolly is considered "Britain's greatest living comedian." Critics have hailed him as "a genius," "a comic legend," "brilliantly funny," and "a superstar." His comedy has been referred to as "priceless, non-stop laughter verging on tears" and "a must see night of comedy - he's fantastic, charming, rude and above all - hilarious." ‘In case you're wondering where hot young comics get their inspiration, they look to legends like Connolly. Don't miss him!' said Time Out. The Chicago Tribune gave Billy 4 STARS - "Brilliant! This should be on Broadway' - And the LA Weekly said, ‘Priceless! Non-stop laughter, verging on tears.'

Best known in the United States for his starring role in the popular 1980's sitcom Head of the Class, Connolly appeared in the X-Files sequel feature film X-Files: I Want To Believe and Boondock Saints II - All Saint's Day. He also starred in the film Gulliver's Travels with Jack Black and Jason Segel, and has appeared on-screen with some of Hollywood's biggest stars including Dame Judi Dench in the prestigious art film Mrs. Brown, Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai, and Jim Carrey in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events.

With a global fan base, Connolly has broken box office records in the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, New York and Canada, and was honored on the Avenue of the Stars (the UK's version of The Hollywood Walk of Fame) alongside Sir Laurence Olivier, John Cleese and The Rolling Stones. His audiences are as diverse as his material and Angelenos will get a unique chance to see him up close and personal at the historic Ricardo Montalban Theatre.
