Asylum/Combined Artform and Studio C Present BEYOND ENCORES

By:

BEYOND ENCORES presents the shows and performers from the last seven years of Hollywood Fringe and ENCORES that excelled during and after their run and who continue to push their work to the next level. Launching this October at Studio C in Hollywood BEYOND ENCORES is an opportunity for artists and audience to revisit these outstanding pieces, some not seen for several years. Performers (shows) already announced include Craig Shaynak (I Am Google), Abby Schachner (Schachner vs. Schachner), Heather Dowling (Unemployed Finally), Jon Armstrong (I Do Card Tricks and I'm Funny) and Antonio Sacre (The Storyteller). Additional shows will be added including productions from the San Diego and San Francisco fringes.

Shows are chosen by producer Matthew Quinn who works with the artist to best utilize BEYOND ENCORES for their work. Along with building their audience and courting industry, artists look to prep for future tours, work in new material or build to a longer run. All shows reflect the type of talent the fringe has to offer and artists who are taking their work beyond the fringe.

All shows will be performed at Studio C - 6448 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90038

Beyond Encores is being produced by Theatre Asylum/Combined Artform and Studio C Artists.

Tickets and schedule for BEYOND ENCORES will be available at www.theencoreawards.com or www.hollywoodfringe.org; ticket range $15-$20.

ASYLUM/COMBINED ARTFORM is a production and venue management company, specializing in working with artists and venues in live performances and festivals. As a venue, we provide rental spaces and offer PR and production support. As producers, we develop our own works as well as co-produce and present top talent from the Hollywood Fringe Festival (HFF) and InterNational productions. Top shows from the Hollywood Fringe get extended through our ENCORE! Awards by us and in conjunction with other venues throughout July and August. In addition, we have begun to network with venues in other cities to provide additional performance opportunities.
