Two of Broadways greatest leading ladies and Tony Award winners Kelli OHara and Sutton Foster will be performing together for the first time on the same bill, and its happening at the Staller Center for the Arts. Kelli OHara received the 2015 Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical, along with Grammy, Drama League, and Outer Critics nominations for her role as Anna Leonowens in the critically acclaimed revival of The King and I. In 2018, O'Hara starred in the Metropolitan Opera's production of Cos fan tutte as Despina, and she recently received her first Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Actress In A Short Form Comedy of Drama Series for her portrayal of Katie Bonner in the hit web series The Accidental Wolf. OHara reprised her Tony-Winning role while making her West End debut this past summer for which The Times hailed her as Broadway musicals undisputed queen adding Kelli OHara does not just play Anna, she owns the part. Sutton Foster is an award-winning actress, singer, and dancer who has performed in 11 Broadway shows most recently the revival of Violet and originated roles in the Broadway productions of The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performances in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. She will star in the upcoming revival of The Music Man with Hugh Jackman next fall, while starring in TV Lands award-winning series, Younger, which is currently in its sixth season. Foster was first seen on television on Star Search at age 15, and has more recently appeared in Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU, and Royal Pains.
