Staller Center Outreach Ensemble presents Peter and the Wolf
The Staller Center Outreach Ensemble presents Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, a playfully narrated concert piece perfect for kids of all ages to experience classical music. Peter and the Wolf is described as a “symphonic fairy tale for children” in which the narrator tells a children’s story while the orchestra brings the text to life. Each instrument or instrument family presents a different character within the story, allowing ears of all ages a chance to hear how each instrument plays a very important and different role in the orchestra. Conducted by Tommy Wu.
