Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire, this poignant contemporary drama won the 2011 New York Drama Critics Award. In South Boston, the playwright’s rough, working-class hometown, locally known as Southie, a single mother down on her luck seeks out an old flame who could help her out. Why are some born there thrive while others ?struggle to survive, and how much do chance and luck matter? The playwright won the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for his family drama Rabbit Hole. Good People runs for nine performances over three weekends: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Feb. 13-16; Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Feb. 21-23; Saturday, Sunday, March 1-2. Directed by Jeff Bennett and Lee Meyer. Produced by James Bradley.
