Vital Theatre Company's FANCY NANCY THE MUSICAL to Play Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, 9/1

The award-winning Vital Theatre Company's newest smash hit Fancy Nancy The Musical comes to the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on Sunday, September 1 at 3pm & 6pm. With book and lyrics by Susan DiLallo, music and lyrics by Danny Abosch, and Direction/Choreography by Sam Viverito, the musical is based on the book series by Jane O'Conner. Based on the bestselling children's book series by Jane O'Connor, FANCY NANCY and her friends Bree, Rhonda, Wanda, and Lionel are going to perform in their very first show, "Deep Sea Dances." Nancy is positive (that's fancy for 100% sure) that she and Bree will be picked to be mermaids. When another girl wins the coveted role, Nancy is stuck playing a dreary, dull tree. Can Nancy bring fancy flair to her role, even though it isn't the one she wanted? Find out as FANCY NANCY fills the theatre with laughter, catchy songs and life lessons.

The show is geared towards children 2 - 10 years old. Called "a family-friendly production brimming with style and wit" (New York Metro Parents), FANCY NANCY THE MUSICAL has been critically and popularly acclaimed since its opening at Vital Theatre Company in September 2012. The Fancy Nancy Cast Recording won the 2013 Off-Broadway Kids Original Musical CD of the Year.
