Tony Winner Bernadette Peters Coming to WBPAC, 9/5

Bernadette Peters, who will perform at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on September 5, will be featured on Laurence Maslon's 150th Anniversary Program of Broadway to Main Street on Sunday, August 30 at 3pm on WPPB 88.3fm. The full hour tribute will take a look at Bernadette's career from 1967 to the present, featuring both seminal and rare recordings.
Since going on the air in January 2012, Maslon has devoted his original radio show, Broadway to Main Street, to music that began on the Broadway stage. Each episode celebrates an important musical or legendary songwriter or examines a historical or cultural movement. Songs are be drawn from classic albums, rare recordings, and surprise interpretations, supplemented by Maslon's commentary, guest appearances, and news from Broadway.
