Spring is in full swing with summer just on the horizon, but that does not mean Long Island theatre goers are any less likely to relax indoors for a night of theatrical entertainment. This season in particular is filled with a plethora of theatrical productions to choose from, brought to you by the theaters and casts you know and love. As a new member of the BroadwayWorld Long Island team I am excited to bring you a taste of what's to come:

The Long Island Premiere of Disaster! A Musical will be presented by CK Productions in Ronkonkoma beginning May 27.

Life Could Be a Dream beginning May 17, Young Frankenstein beginning June 7, and Ragtime beginning June 24 will all be presented at Bayway Arts Center by the distinguished BroadHollow Theatre Company team. And at their Elmont location: West Side Story begins May 10, Young Frankenstein on July 12, Ragtime on August 9, and Bye Bye Birdie on September 6.

The summer season at the always impressive Cultural Arts Playhouse in Syosset begins on June 23 with West Side Story and continues on July 28 with A Chorus Line.

Stage Light Entertainment will also present their take on Seth Rudetsky's nostalgic Disaster! The Musical at their intimate and immersive Lindenhurst location beginning July 20.

Finally, after commendable fundraising efforts SoLuna Studios of Hauppauge will be presenting Pippin as its summer musical, beginning July 14.
