STAGES Children's Theatre Workshop Announces Fall 2012 Theater Programs, Beg. 9/18 & 19

STAGES, A Children's Theatre Workshop, Inc., invites young actors to join its Fall 2012 Theater Programs. Stages offers a variety of programs throughout the school year.
The popular Fall Performance Workshop for actors ages 8-18 will be held at the Southampton Town Recreation Center at 1370A Majors Path in Southampton on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:30-6:30 PM beginning Wednesday, September 19th. This six-week Workshop will culminate in the performance of FRANKENSTEIN FOLLIES at the Bay Street Theatre on October 26, 27 and 28. Actors might not be required to attend every rehearsal. The cost of the Performance Workshop is $475. For younger actors, mature 6-9 year olds, Stages offers its Creative Drama Workshop, meeting Tuesdays from 4 -5:30 pm starting Tuesday, September 18 through Tuesday, November 13. This eight-week class is designed as an introduction to acting. A presentation of a short play will be held on the final day of the session. The Creative Drama Workshop will be held at the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor. The cost is $285. Helene Leonard, director and co-founder of Stages, will direct both programs.
