Photo Flash: First Look at A CHRISTMAS STORY at the Engeman Theater

The John W. Engeman Theater just opened the musical adaptation of the iconic holiday classic - A CHRISTMAS STORY - THE MUSICAL on Thursday, November 20; the show runs through January 4, 2015. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast onstage below!

Ralphie Parker wants only one thing for Christmas: An Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action 200-shot Range Model Air Rifle. A CHRISTMAS STORY is the hilarious account of bespectacled Ralphie's desperate quest to ensure that this most perfect of gifts ends up under his tree for Christmas. Join Ralphie and his family as he navigates though leg lamps, a bully with yellow eyes, bar soap punishments and double dog dares on his way to the perfect Christmas morning. The musical is based on the classic 1983 movie, which itself was based on stories by legendary radio humorist Jean Shepherd, and features funny and heartfelt songs by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul and a faithful yet inventive book by Joseph Robinette.

A CHRISTMAS STORY - THE MUSICAL is directed and produced by Richard T. Dolce, the Engeman Theater's Producing Artistic Director.
