JIM BREUER

Jim Breuer is coming to Bay Street Theatre on Monday, July 26. Breuer is "Long Island's own" and is known for his incredible stand-up performances, charismatic stage antics and impressions, various television appearances, movie roles and his Sirius Satellite Radio show. Breuer joined NBC's "Saturday Night Live" in 1995, becoming best known for his original character "Goat Boy" and his impression of actor Joe Pesci, resulting in the recurring "Joe Pesci Show" sketch. Word of his uncanny imitation of Pesci spread to the actor himself, who later made a surprise appearance on "SNL" to confront the comedian - creating one of the most memorable skits in the show's history - which was later featured on the documentary, "101 Most Unforgettable Top SNL Moments." After a four-year stint on "SNL," Breuer moved on to star in the movie "Half Baked," alongside comedian Dave Chappelle. Breuer was also the host on the popular show "MTV's Beach House," which featured Jim strolling the New Jersey shore boardwalk with hidden cameras.

Additional appearances include numerous stints on NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," as well as roles in several movies, such as "Dick" (1999) and "Once in the Life" (2000), and in 2006, he made a cameo appearance in Artie Lange's movie "Beer League." Also in 2006, Jim was named as the new host of VH1's popular show "Web Junk 20," where he guides viewers through the top 20 viral clips of the week. Other shows include appearances on Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Craig Ferguson, Howard Stern and John Stewart.

All comedy performances begin at 8 pm. Tickets are $60. David Alan Grier (July 19), followed by Jim Breuer (July 26), David Brenner (Aug. 7), Ralphie May (Aug. 16), Joe Piscopo & Bobby Slayton (Aug. 23), and Jamie Kennedy (Aug, 30). Tickets are available online at www.baystreet.org, by calling the Bay Street Box Office at 631-725-9500 or by stopping by the Box Office on the Long Wharf, Sag Harbor. The Box office is open daily from 11 am - 6 pm.
