Derrick Baskin and Mandy Gonzalez to Bring OH WHAT A NIGHT! to the Engeman, 10/14
Broadway Pops International (BPI) presents a sold-out engagement of OH WHAT A NIGHT! Billboard Hits of the 1960s at the John W. Engeman Theater in Northport, NY. The concert will take place on October 14th, 2015 at 7:00pm.
The show will feature music by The Four Seasons, Ray Charles, The Beach Boys, Michael Jackson, Bobbie Darrin, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder and even the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin.
Starring are Derrick Baskin (MEMPHIS, THE LITTLE MERMAID) and Mandy Gonzalez (WICKED, IN THE HEIGHTS), accompanied by Ryan Shirar.

Baskin has originated three shows on Broadway: MEMPHIS, winner of the 2010 TONY AWARD for Best New Musical in the role of Gator; THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE in the role of Mitch Mohoney; and Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID as half of the evil duo Flotsam & Jetsam. Outside of Broadway, Derrick is coming off of a successful tour with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Recent and future projects include the movie remake of ANNIE starring Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz, directed by Will Gluck and ANESTHESIA starring Glenn Close, directed by Tim Blake Nelson.
Mandy Gonzalez appeared on Broadway as Elphaba in WICKED and as Nina Rosario in the Tony Award winning Broadway musical IN THE HEIGHTS. She has also appeared in AIDA, LENNON and DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES, opposite Michael Crawford. Mandy won an OBIE Award for her performance in the Off-Broadway production of ELI'S COMIN'. Her film and television credits include MAN ON A LEDGE, AFTER, THE GOOD WIFE, ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, IN GOD'S HANDS, NBC's THIRD WATCH, GUIDING LIGHT and ONE LIFE TO LIVE.
