DREAMGIRLS to Play Long Island This Winter

BroadHollow Theatre Company will stage Henry Krieger and Tom Eyen's DREAMGIRLS at The Bayway Arts Center, located at 265 East Main Street, East Islip. The musical runs January 2-17, 2016. The show will then travel to BroadHollow at Elmont, located at 700 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont (inside the Elmont Memorial Library) from February 6-28, 2016.

A young female singing trio from Chicago get their big break at an amateur competition and begin singing backup vocals for James "Thunder" Early. However, things begin to spin out of control when their agent, Curtis Taylor, Jr., makes Deena and not Effie, the star of what will become known as "The Dreams."

Tickets are $22.00 for adults, $20.00 for seniors, $18.00 for students, and $14.00 for children 12 and under in advance. All tickets are $27.00 at the door.
