The Tony Award-winning Best Musical returns with an exciting new national tour, bringing this reimagining of The Wizard of Oz to audiences nationwide. Featuring a book by William F. Brown and a Tony Award-winning score by Charlie Smalls, the production is directed by Schele Williams with choreography by JaQuel Knight. Based on L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, the show transforms the classic story into an all-Black musical extravaganza celebrating soul, gospel, rock, and funk music. This one-night-only performance follows the show's landmark 50th Anniversary Tour.
